Last night, a small but enthusiastic group of SABR members, along with a few grandchildren, came together to watch the Astros play the Yankees in the 3rd game of the ALCS. While the results left something to be desired, the Astros still lead the New Yorkers 2 games to 1.

This coming Saturday, the Houston Babies take the field against the Barker Red Sox at the George Ranch as the Ranch celebrates Texan Market Days. Come to the ranch and check out Texas at it was in the 1800s and see a little baseball as well. We play at 10:30 AM.

Our next meeting will be on Monday, November 20th, same time (7 p.m.) and same location as usual, the Spaghetti Western at 1608 Shepherd Drive. At that time, we will announce the winner in the 2017 Astros Win Contest who picked the exact number of games the team would win and enjoy Tom White's trivia contest that he has refined over the past few months.
